Research paper presentation

Si Clean Energy’s Chief Technology Officer, Peter Bulanyi, and one of Si’s PV Engineers, Rodd Zhang, have been selected by a panel of industry experts chaired by Professor Geoff Smith to present their paper at the upcoming Solar Expo 2014 in Melbourne next week.

The paper is titled “Shading Analysis & Improvement for Distributed Residential Grid-Connected Photovoltaics Systems” and highlights a compilation of aspects of important practical issues for PV multiple module rooftop installations. There are a variety of shading scenarios to manage and wider understanding is needed and this paper will help with that effort as well as offer clear, informative figures to identify the key factors for shade analysis.

This presentation will be made at the Solar Expo conference as part of the Scientific and Research conference on Thursday 8th May.
